Welcome to Hilary Says ("we" “us” or "our")! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and products. By accessing or making a purchase from Hilary Says, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Hilary Says is a retailer of skincare products (“products”) in Nigeria. We do not manufacture the products we sell on our platform; rather, they are sourced from reputable brands across the world. While we take reasonable steps to verify authenticity and quality of these products, we do not make any warranties, express or implied, regarding product effectiveness, safety or suitability. All warranties or guarantees applicable to a product are those provided by the manufacturer.
2. Product Issues & Liability Limitations
- All product descriptions, images, and information on our website are for informational purposes only and are based on details provided by the manufacturer. Hilary Says does not independently verify these claims and makes no representations, warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, effectiveness, or safety of any product. We expressly disclaim any liability arising from product use, product performance or suitability for a particular purpose. Skincare product results may vary from person to person. Hilary Says is not responsible for any product-related issues adverse reactions, sensitivities, or variations in product effectiveness or performance or manufacturer defects. You are responsible for reviewing product ingredients and are encouraged to conduct a patch test or consult with Dermatologists (where necessary) before use.
- If a product arrives defective or damaged, customers must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery, providing clear images as proof. Complaints must be sent to info@hilarysays.com for prompt assistance.
3. Purchases & Payment
- We reserve the right to modify product prices at any time at our sole discretion. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been placed and confirmed.
- Unless otherwise stated, product prices do not include delivery costs. We may, at our discretion, offer discounts on products from time to time.
- We will bill you through an online billing account for product purchases. By making a purchase, you agree to pay all charges at the prices in effect at the time of purchase and authorize us to charge your selected payment provider accordingly.
- Payments can be made via debit card or bank transfer. For payment collection, we may engage a third-party service provider, and you may receive invoices or payment-related communications from them.
- You must ensure that your chosen payment method is valid and has sufficient funds.
- We reserve the right to verify payment details before processing any order. If we detect or suspect fraudulent activity, we may, at our sole discretion, decline or cancel the order without prior notice.
- We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors or mistakes, even after payment has been requested or received. In the event of a correction, we will notify you and provide an opportunity to confirm or cancel your order before proceeding with the revised charge.
4. Order Processing & Shipping
- Orders are processed within the estimated timeframe stated on our website. However, delays due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., supplier issues, logistics delays) are beyond our control.
- An order is considered to be placed when the following steps have been completed:
- If ordering online, you have selected your desired products using the "Add to Cart" option. At any time before completing your order, you may review and modify your cart by adjusting quantities, removing items, or clearing your cart entirely.
- You have provided accurate and complete personal information necessary for order processing and delivery.
- You have chosen your preferred delivery method and payment option.
- Once your order is placed and payment is successfully processed, it cannot be canceled.
- Product availability is subject to stock levels. While we strive to maintain accurate inventory information, some products may become unavailable after you place an order. If an item is out of stock, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you before finalizing your order, allowing you to modify or cancel your purchase if necessary.
- In the event of loss, theft, or damage to a product during transit, we will assess the situation upon receiving notification and take appropriate steps to resolve the issue accordingly.
5. Returns & Refunds Policy
- No Refunds or Exchanges: We do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the issue arises from our end (e.g., incorrect product sent, expired product, damage during shipping).
- If a return is approved due to an error on our part, the product must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging/tags to qualify. Refunds will be issued to the same account number used for the original purchase.
- Customers must follow our return instructions and bear any applicable return delivery fees unless stated otherwise.
6. Use of Website & Content
- The only images owned by Hilary Says on our website are the banners. All product descriptions and images are sourced from the respective brands.
- We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any aspect of our website without prior notice.

- When you use our website or purchase products, we may collect certain personal information, such as your name, phone number, email address, shipping address, and payment details.
