Hilary Taiwo is a British-Nigerian seasoned Cosmetic Scientist with over 16 years of diverse experience in the beauty industry and founder of “Hilary Says”. She began her career in makeup application before transitioning to cosmetic research and development, earning a degree in Cosmetic Science from the University of the Arts, London College of Fashion. Hilary's career includes roles at Procter & Gamble (Research & Development), where she formulated products for Maxfactor, Cover Girl, and D&G Cosmetics, and collaborations with renowned brands such as Lancôme and Clarins.
Driven by a profound passion for transparency in the beauty industry and the desire to promote the use of safe and effective products, Hilary founded "Hilary Says” in 2016. This platform serves to educate consumers about the science behind their beauty routines, offering personalized guidance to clients for selecting and purchasing products that align with their skin needs, ensuring both safety and the enhancement of natural beauty.
As a thought leader in beauty and cosmetic science, Hilary advocates for safe and healthy practices through various channels, utilizing both traditional and digital platforms to reach a global audience. She is a member of the National Technical Committee On Beauty Care and Wellness Services Under Standards Organization of Nigeria.
