HILARY SAYS REVIEW:
Laneige Cream Skin Refiner is a toner/essence/moisturizer that claims to provide deep hydration, repair and strengthen the skin’s barrier. It claims to contain White Leaf water, which is rich in amino acids to help strengthen, moisturize and sooth the skin.
Firstly, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract (white leaf tea) is somewhere at the bottom of the ingredients list, which means it is in there at very little amount so I don’t think it will have that much added benefit.
Here are other ingredients in it that are beneficial to the skin:
– Glycerin: humectant (for hydration)
– Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil: emollient/skin softening agent
– Glyceryl Stearate Citrate: helps smooth skin
– Tocopherol: antioxidant
As you can see, it is a very basic product. It will not deliver much as a moisturizer, toner or even an essence. I certainly will not expect deep hydration from it either, the best you will get is light moisturization.
