HILARY SAYS REVIEW:
Looking at the ingredients list already indicates that this product is basic and OVERPRICED!!! It is basically a mineral oil based serum with various plant extracts. Clarins has reiterated on many occasions that it is committed to creating skin care products that allow their customers to fight the aging process with natural plant-based ingredients. With Clarins’ reputation as a “natural” cosmetics line, this formulation is very “unnatural”. Also, stating in the claims that this serum is “powered by 20 pure plant extracts” is trying to give off the “natural” product vibe but it is mineral oil based (FYI – there’s absolutely nothing wrong with mineral oil but it’s not a “natural plant-based” ingredient).
The main plant extract in this serum is Oxydendrum Arboreum, which has no research or scientific proof that it benefits the skin in anyway. Apart from this plant extract mentioned above, the serum contains more fragrance ingredients and preservative than it does beneficial plants. The serum also contains a natural ingredient called Perilla Oil, which is a skin irritant that can cause skin inflammation. It contains many other good plant extracts, but none of them can get rid of wrinkles and fine lines. In my opinion, it’s a waste of money.
